Introduction
The proposed training course focuses on strengthening the capability of aviation organisations to prepare for and manage complex aviation emergencies in a rapidly evolving operational environment.
The aviation sector is increasingly exposed to new risks and evolving operational challenges, including climate-related disruptions, cyber incidents, increased digitalisation of aviation systems, the integration of drones and new airspace users, and the introduction of new aircraft propulsion technologies such as SAF, LCAF, electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft.
This course introduces a modern approach to aviation Emergency Response Planning (ERP) and crisis management by combining established emergency management principles with emerging risk scenarios affecting the aviation system.
