You will be pleasantly surprised when arriving at the JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) in Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands, close to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The recently opened and modern building protrudes through its architecture, surrounding landscape and interior design. As the representation of the entire organisation it stands for warm welcome, sociability and Gezelligheid – the Dutch meaning for conviviality, cosiness and abstract togetherness. The infrastructure and technology equipping this headquarter make it the prime location for high-quality training course deliveries and a sophisticated learning environment.

Reception

Upon arrival, our friendly Receptionist Team will welcome you and hand over your badge. Several information screens throughout the building display general information about our courses, public transport, your training classroom location, hotels, etc. The reception desk will also be your main point of reference throughout your entire stay and the team is pleased to assist you where needed.

Whether you need a taxi, shuttle transfer back to your hotel, an explanation on how to reach the centre of Amsterdam, or even advice on nearby dining locations, our Reception Team is at your disposal.

CHECK TOURIST INFO

In addition to the public desktop computers, we provide you with the possibility to print documents needed for airport check-in or alike. Furthermore, the entire building is equipped with wireless high-speed Internet. You can freely log on to the Internet in every corner of the building with your personal laptop and mobile devices.

Have you ever arrived at Schiphol Airport in April or May? The view of the authentic Dutch bulb fields is fantastic! It is like flying over a Van Gogh painting! Our architect was inspired by this "view over Holland" when designing the headquarters.

 

 

Classrooms

The classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure ideal learning conditions. CTOUCH Interactive 86-inch Flat Panels, LED-projectors, sound amplification (depending on the size of the room) and extra display screens in the back of the room to make sure everyone is involved in the course and has a good view of the presentation. In addition, our instructors make use of flipcharts, Smart Boards, and other training aids.

Refreshments & Lunch

The two floors where classrooms are located offer various lounges and break out areas for group activities, socialising or further personal work before/after training courses. Openly designed coffee, tea and water stations provide refreshments, including mini-bars with a selection of free soft drinks and fruit.

At JAA TO's headquarters in Schiphol-Rijk, lunch is served in the "Flamingo" Restaurant, approx. from 12.00h - 13.00h. On a daily basis, our cook prepares fresh, warm meals at international standards (including vegetarian options), displays a colourful salad bar and arranges the desserts carefully. Fresh juices, bread, deli meats, homemade soups and cheeses are also part of our extensive buffet lunch. During warmer temperatures, the wooden terrace offers perfect seating for an outside lunch by the water.
