JAA TO is the only Associated Training Body of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) since 2009. Through the years, JAA TO has earned important accreditations and recognitions, including being awarded a leading ICAO Regional Training Center of Excellence in Europe and being made a member of the EASA Virtual Academy.
JAA TO was the first ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence (RTCE) in Europe, as we were the first to become a Full Member of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (TPP). Learn more about it below.
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has set up the TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (TPP), promoting training collaboration for the purpose of a safe, secure, and sustainable development of the global air transport. The TPP created the seal "Regional Training Centres of Excellence" (RTCEs), which is given to leading TRAINAIR PLUS Full Members who can develop and deliver ICAO Standardized Training Packages (ITP) using ICAO provisions (Annexes and guidance material). There are only 4 RTCEs in Europe, and JAA TO is the first and leading one.

Furthermore, JAA TO received, in March 2015, an award from ICAO's Global Aviation Training (GAT) for the highest number of participants in an online Standardized Training Package (STP).
JAA TO is the leading member of EVA since its inception in 2015. JAA TO is also an EASA-approved Ramp Inspection Training Organisation (RITO) - for full practical and recurrent courses.
EASA, the Agency of the European Union (EU), with regulatory and executive tasks in the field of civil aviation safety, developed the EASA Virtual Academy (EVA) to ensure that harmonised and high-quality training is available. The training providers offering EVA courses are selected on the basis of specific criteria regarding their legal, economic, technical and professional capacity to perform the required training.
