Introduction
Auditing is a fundamental part of an effective Safety Management System (SMS). This course provides Aerodrome Safety and Compliance Staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to audit their own safety procedures, infrastructures and equipment, and that of other organizations operating at their aerodrome. The course combines classroom activities with practical exercises on-site at an airfield to allow delegates to experience auditing techniques under real conditions while receiving essential guidance and coaching in applying International Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs).
