JAA TO and Moldovan Civil Aviation Authority re-sign Successful Training Agreement

Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands. 12 April 2024 – The JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) is pleased to announce the continuation of its strategic partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova solidified through the renewed signing of a Training Services Agreement (TSA). This collaboration, celebrated at JAA TO’s workshop for ECAC Director Generals, emphasises the shared dedication to enhancing aviation safety, competency standards, and sustainability across the industry.

The TSA implements the next logical step in improving aviation safety and the skill set of Moldovan aviation professionals. With special access to JAA TO's extensive range of training offerings and learning solutions, the initiative is set to substantially enhance the proficiency and competency of Moldovan aviation professionals across key areas of the aviation ecosystem. Training solutions include courses at either JAA TO’s HQ or Moldovan locations.

Paula V. de Almeida, CEO of JAA TO, remarks, "Our steady collaboration with the Moldovan Civil Aviation Authority symbolically underlines our full support to all ECAC Member States in the field of regulatory aviation training in turbulent times. Our joint effort focuses on unlocking the potential of aviation professionals through comprehensive training tailored to the Authority’s evolving needs."

Vasile Șaramet, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Republic of Moldova, also highlights the importance of this partnership, stating, "Aligning with JAA TO accelerates our mission to advance aviation safety and excellence in Moldova. Further, this cooperation is poised to deliver significant advancements to authority competency, capacity-building, auditing capabilities and preparedness in the wake of implementing global standards and recommended practices.”

The TSA includes a wide array of educational programs aimed at nurturing the development of aviation professionals, thus contributing to the enrichment of the global aviation community’s collective expertise and knowledge. More information.
