JAA TO HQ office closure extended

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands. March 11, 2021. The ambivalent developments across Europe and the world concerning the coronavirus prompt the JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) to follow the latest COVID-19 measures by the Dutch government and extend its temporary closure of headquarters at Schiphol-Rijk until further notice.

This means that all scheduled training courses at the JAA TO state-of-the-art training centre (classroom/hybrid) will continue be delivered virtually and registered trainees will be transferred to the next available virtual option if applicable.

The 2021 Training Schedule is currently under review and all changes from classroom to virtual training will be communicated as soon as possible. Check the JAA TO website and social channels regularly for calendar updates or contact the JAA TO Training Department.

As communicated previously, the safety and well-being of all our stakeholders has top priority. The COVID-19 pandemic knows no borders and shows how fragile and vulnerable even the most resilient systems and societies are. As training organisation with global scope, it is therefore also a moral obligation to protect all stakeholders around us and implement the fair share of universal precautions and promote safety first principles.

As Training Centre of Excellence (TCE) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), JAA TO offers its most-comprehensive virtual course portfolio to-date, serving aviation professionals globally to experience renowned competency-based training solutions in these pandemic times.

JAA TO Director Mrs. Paula V. de Almeida, MEd: “Delivering the highest quality aviation education with the extra JAA TO experience is our contribution to building back better the European/global aviation sector post-COVID-19. JAA TO’s robust instructor-led, virtual training has the trainee’s benefit in mind, while delivering on our brand promise.”

JAA TO would like to thank all stakeholders for their continued support and understanding. Stay healthy.
