JAA TO and ENAC Italy Formalise Comprehensive Training Service Agreement

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands/Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 21 November 2023 – The JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) is delighted to announce the signing of a comprehensive two-year Training Service Agreement (TSA) with ENAC - Ente Nazionale Aviazione Civile (Italy). This agreement cements the longstanding and fruitful relationship between the Italian CAA and JAA TO, establishing JAA TO as the exclusive training provider for ENAC. The formalisation of the TSA takes place at the ICAO Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels (CAAF/3) where the Director General of ENAC, Dr Alessio Quaranta meets JAA TO’s Head of Sales, Marketing and Operations, Murat Yalcin in Dubai this week.

Under this TSA, ENAC personnel will receive high-quality regulations training facilitated both at JAA TO's headquarters and ENAC's headquarters in Rome. The agreement encompasses a wide array of standard portfolio courses, along with the possibility of customised training services tailored to ENAC's specific needs. The agreement, signed in October 2023, has ENAC already benefitting from the first training deliveries which concerned the International Aviation Regulation training held in Rome. This flexible approach underscores JAA TO’s commitment to providing comprehensive and adaptable training solutions for governing bodies and its personnel.

"This agreement is not only a testament to our enduring trusted partnership but also a reflection of ENAC's confidence in our ability to enhance capacity and competencies for their CAA personnel. We are thankful for this opportunity to further our collaboration and strengthen the European air transport system," says the JAA TO CEO Paula V. de Almeida.

The Director General of ENAC Italy, Alessio Quaranta adds: “This organisation has a successful track record of facilitating aviation training and stimulating knowledge solutions needed by the authority to guarantee safety, security and regulatory compliance. With JAA TO as partner, ENAC starts to innovate and ramp up its capacity-building for authority personnel and on behalf of the governing body I am pleased to see this long-term agreement in action.”

This milestone agreement is the result of productive discussions and drafting phases between JAA TO Sales & Account Representative, Elena Lenzi and ENAC’s Head of Human Resources, Arianna Ciani who started laying the groundwork back in June this year. JAA TO looks forward to a fruitful collaboration over the next two years and beyond, setting new benchmarks in aviation training excellence.
