EASA Part-145

A two-day interactive training covering all aspects of Part-145

JAA TO, 13 July 2018, The Netherlands

Aviation professionals participated in the “EASA Part-145 Training Course” on 04 - 05 July 2018, at JAA TO’s headquarters. This training covers the Annex II to Implementing Rule EU 1321/2014 and the corresponding Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Materials (GM).

“The Technical Requirements (Section A) and the Procedures for Competent Authorities (Section B) of Part-145 are dealt with separately and in a logical, structured way”, explains the JAA TO-qualified Instructor Bas. The link between the regulation and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) is also discussed in his class. This makes the training useful for both new and experienced professionals from industry and authorities.

The EASA Part-145 training is a two-day interactive training covering all aspects of Part-145. “During the training course, questions from attendants and mutual discussions are encouraged - this makes the training more interactive and lively, which increases understanding and learning. Also, attendants receive hand-outs of the course presentation and a Regulations book developed by JAA TO, which offers a very convenient collection of up to date regulatory information for day to day use and reference", says Bas.

At the end of the course, we talked with some course participants to collect their feedback on it. Mr. Rana was very satisfied with the training: “As MRO Sales Executive at Direct Maintenance, it is essential that I understand the EASA Part-145, so I attended the JAA TO course. I have to say that I really enjoyed it”.
