Introduction
This course will familiarise participants with legislation concerning MMELs and an understanding of MMELs and MELs for operational use. Overall, it will attempt to answer the following two important questions: How Does a Manufacturer create an MMEL? and How Does an Operator create and amend an MEL?
Course Content
After this course, participants should have a good knowledge of producing an MMEL and how this is used to develop an operator’s MEL.
The training course includes group discussions, case studies, and individual and group exercises.

- Calculation of Safety Impact

- The Use of CS-MMEL for operational requirements.
- (O) and (M) Procedures
- Repair Interval Extensions (RIE)
- SAFA/SACA Inspection- A07 MEL
- Summary of Main Points

Pre-requisites
Participants are kindly requested to bring a laptop to the course to access course material which will only be provided in electronic format.
An operational proficiency level in the English language Level 4/B2 is highly recommended.
