Human Factors for Maintenance

Introduction

Human Factors are everything that affects Human Performance on a daily basis. Using a concept similar to Crew Resource Management people will be enabled to optimise the use of all resources available with the intention to optimise Human Performance and reduce the impact of human error. This course provides participants with practical tools to apply the learned principles in daily practise.

Course Content

The following subjects will be discussed, using very interactive teaching methods such as: Exercises, Group Discussions, Case Studies, Group Work, Video Examples and Facilitation Techniques.

Learning Objectives

After this course participants will be aware of Human Performance Limitations and all factors that affect Human Performance. They will be aware of methods to improve Human Performance and they will be able to apply these methods.

Who should take this course

All personnel, including management of a maintenance organisation.
