Introduction
The JAA TO Flight Dispatch Recurrent training establishes a high level of safety and proficiency, by adequate recurrent training to the daily demand’s tasks for flight dispatch personnel.
This category of training is for personnel who have been trained and qualified in an Initial Flight Dispatch training and will continue to serve in the same duty position.
This training also complies with the requirements of EASA GM1 ORO.GEN.110 (and related AMC and GM), IOSA ISM DSP 2.1 and DSP table 3.6.
The Recurrent and Initial training is based on competency-based methods according to the new ICAO Manual 10106.
Course Content
This course addresses the following topics, covered within the course through 10 Modules labeled as follows:
- Module 1 (LAW) Air Law & Air Traffic Management
- Module 2 (NAV) Navigation
- Module 3 (MET) Meteorology
- Module 4 (FPL&M) Flight Planning & Flight Monitoring
- Module 5 (HPL) Human Performance Limitations)
Important Note: This course can be adapted for operation needs, regulations or internal/regional compliance requirements. (Examples: ETOPS advance training, MNSP, Winter Ops., Warm Weather Operations, etc.)
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to the exercise of relevant tasks in aircraft operational control duties.

Pre-requisites
- Previous Flight Dispatch Initial training or proved 2-3 years of experience.
- The course will be delivered in the English Language. Therefore, proficiency Level 4 (operational) in English is highly recommended.
- Participants should have the minimum educational level of successful high school completion.
Duration
3 Days: 09:00 – approximately 17:00 hrs. An examination is offered on day 3.
