JAA TO’s CDU Manager elected Chairman of ICAO-EASA’s LPRI TF

The ICAO-EASA Joint Language Proficiency Requirements Implementation Task Force (LPRI TF) was held in Cologne, Germany

The Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organisation (JAA TO) is proud to announce that our Course Development Unit (CDU) Manager, Ms. Ceyrine Pellikaan, was elected Chairman of the ICAO-EASA Joint Language Proficiency Requirements Implementation Task Force (LPRI TF) on 9th October in Cologne, Germany.

ICAO-EASA Joint Language Proficiency Requirements Implementation Task Force (LPRI TF), on 9th October 2018, in Cologne, Germany.

The ICAO EUR Task Force on Language Proficiency Requirements Implementation works within the terms of reference of the ICAO European Air Navigation Planning Group (EANPG) to raise awareness on safety-related issues. The task force addresses the following:

-           Establishing a network with CAAs and relevant stakeholders working on LPRI;

-           Sharing implementation of best practices and identifying harmonization; and

-           Providing assistance and guidance to aviation personnel and States in developing English Language Proficiency Tests.
