EASA Part-AR Introduction

Introduction

With EASA's publication of its Opinion concerning the future Authority requirements for CAT and Complex motor-powered aircraft operators, Approved training organizations and requirements for Cabin Crew they have published a draft Implementing Rule (IR) together with the associated AMCs and GMs.

This draft decision will form the basis for the final regulation that has to be implemented by Competent Authorities by 8 April 2012.

Course Content

This EASA Part-AR introduction covers:

  • Legal background EU Commission
  • Cover Regulation Part-AR structure
  • Highlights on essential AR requirements for:
    o Air operator declaration
    o Air operators certification
    o Technical Crew members
    o Approved training organizations (ATO)
    o Aero-medical centers
    o AMC and GM for Part-AR 

Learning Objectives

To familiarize the participants with the general requirements in the proposed new EASA rulemaking on Authority requirements for Commercial Air Transport and Complex motor-powered aircraft operators together with Approved Training organizations and Aero-medical centers and Cabin Crew Implementing Rules incl. AMCs and GM.
