Introduction

A 2-day virtual training workshop designed for Air Operators that have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and wish to restart or continue operations in a safe and efficient manner whilst maintaining regulatory compliance. 

This course is presented in two modules, each of one day’s duration. Delegates can register for one or both modules as required.

Module 2 / Day 2

  • Compliance Monitoring Programme Recovery
  • Safety Management System Recovery
  • COVID-19 Security Issues
  • Security System recovery to normal operations
  • Passenger/Customer Relations & safety concerns due to COVID-19

  • EASA Air Operations Regulation (EU) 965/2012
  • EASA Aircrew Regulation (EU) 1178/2011
  • EASA Continuing Airworthiness Regulation (1321/2014).
  • ICAO Annex 19
  • ICAO Doc 9859 (ICAO Safety Management Manual)

Learning Objectives

On completion of these virtual course modules, the delegate will have attained the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes to allow them to understand and competently manage the topics as described in the previous paragraph.

  • Training Organisations (ATO/DTO)
  • Airworthiness Organisations (Part M/145) including Accountable Managers, Nominated Person, Safety Managers and Compliance Monitoring Managers.

Pre-requisites

Knowledge of the Specific European Union Regulations pertaining to the delegates area of responsibility is required (e.g Aircrew (1178/2011), Air Operations (965/2012) or Airworthiness (1321/2014)).

Knowledge of the EU (EASA) requirements for a Management System, including Safety Management and Compliance Monitoring fundamentals would be beneficial.
