Introduction

The Theoretical Knowledge examinations are a vital part of pilot licensing procedures by National Aviation Authorities (NAA). Under the JAA system the examinations are extracted from a Central Question Bank (CQB) centrally managed and updated by the JAA, and administered for the purpose of examinations by each NAA.

This course provides comprehensive training in regard to the JAA examination requirements and procedures outlined in JAR-FCL and JAA Admin and Guidance Material for the examination of pilots. Due to the recent amendments to JAR-FCL as a consequence of NPA 25 and the major revision of the Learning Objectives for examinations, it is essential that staff handling the CQB is appropriately trained for its use.
